We have a lot of families with kiddos in our neighborhood. Even before the pandemic, as a Pediatric OT, I feel as if it’s my duty to inform and educate the neighborhood parents as well as provide activities and tools to the kids.
However, I see the need for it even more now as families have been thrown into this new “Stay At Home” routine. I’ve been providing OT related information and tools several times a week via our neighborhood group but I’ve also been doing simple things outside once a week.
Here is what I did this week: A Mini Brain Break for the neighborhood kids! And adults if they want to feel like a kid again. 💁🏽♀️😁😎
