We run courses and workshops in around the country including in schools and nurseries, where teachers, teaching assistants and others involved in education can get hands-on learning about Ayres’ Sensory Integration and how to promote ideal environments to support the learning and development of the young people they are teaching.
Our courses and workshops can be tailored to meet your staff CPD requirements and we offer workshops on sensory integration to support students with:
- Neuro-developmental challenges
- Dyspraxia/DCD
- Autistic Spectrum Conditions
- Trauma (including for looked after children)
- Child and Adolescent Mental Health Difficulties
- Behaviours that Challenge
- Sleep Disorders
Since the 1990’s many of our experienced lecturers have been teaching others about Ayres’ Sensory Integration.
Since then we have taught allied healthcare professionals, educators, social workers and residential care staff, sports and complementary therapists, nursing staff, psychologists and psychiatrists in the UK and Ireland, and abroad; including therapy and nursing staff from the UK’s high secure forensic hospitals, Broadmoor and Rampton.
Our ASI-WISE lecturers also lecture locally and abroad.
